My name is Angelique.
I’m a 20-something year old travel enthusiast from Vancouver in the land of all things glorious and free. For many years, I’ve been blessed with delightfully chaotic life experiences, funny coincidences, serendipitous encounters, and once in a lifetime moments. When I’m not up to my usual monkey business, I indulge in an infinite wonder for art, literature, culture, and worldly adventures.
I’m a student.
I’m in college relentlessly pursuing a degree in Marketing with hopes of making it big in the corporate world, all while juggling a diploma in Travel and Tourism Management, a part-time job, and volunteer work. Have I mentioned that I’m also Superwoman?
I’m a bibliophile.
I read A LOT. I will plant as many trees as it would take to supply my life long need for books. Please don’t give me an e-reader. I’ll have to callously throw it towards you. I’m just kidding. I just prefer books. Make your pledge to read the printed word.
I’m a traveler.
Obviously not a thoroughly experienced one, but I’ve been places. And with my nomadic tendencies, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to collect passport stamps and half-torn boarding passes. Hey, maybe I’ll even grow to love airplane food! Yeah, not a chance.
I’m That Girl.
I am perfectly flawed and sublimely beautiful. I am a constant work in progress. I recognize that what I admire in others also exists within myself. I’m on a mission to turn self-doubt in to self-love, to use my voice, to share my truth, to love others, and to leave this world better than I found it. I Am That Girl.
